摘要
New trends in domestic induction cooking are focused on increasing benefits to the users. Consumers demand flexible systems capable to operate on pots with a wide range of sizes and shapes. These features are provided by increasing the number of circular coils but also implying higher cost. However, in order to achieve the desired performance, cooking system including elongated elliptic-coils are proposed because constitute a cost-effective solution. In this paper, the main characteristics of a double elliptic-coil system transferring power to a classical pot are studied and analyzed. Finally, several configurations have been tested to evaluate the performance of the proposed solution.
