Network camera system using new home network architecture with flexible scalability

This paper proposes the PRORIX (TM) that is a new architecture for a centrally managed home network system. This architecture can support a range of scalable configurations, from small-scale systems without home servers, to large-scale systems centralized on a home server. Since the PRORIX (TM) makes it possible to adapt a system scale to user needs, it becomes easier for users to introduce a home network system to their home. This paper presents, as an example, a Network Camera System using this architecture.
