摘要：

Effects of the frequency-dependence of the permeability and permittivity of a left-handed material (LHM), when used as one of the components of a Bragg reflector, are investigated. It is found that typical broad Bragg reflectivity peaks appear in the frequency range in which the material is not left-handed. Inside the LHM range, the Bragg peaks are very narrow and of low intensity. (C) 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
