摘要
Sintering-expanded haydite was prepared using Bayer process red mud, wood powder and limestone as the main materials. The adsorption properties of haydite on Cu2+ in water was researched. The results indicated that the expansion rate and bulk density of haydite, which was prepared under roasted temperature of 1210 degrees C for 10 minutes, is 122.2% and 618 kg/m(3) respectively. When the concentration of simulated wastewater is 16 mu g/mL, the adsorption rate of haydite for Cu2+ is 98.56%, the concentration of residual Cu2+ in the solution is 0.23 mu g/mL.
