摘要
Bibliometric analysis allows to see statistically regular behaviors over time in the different elements related to the production and consumption of scientific information. Searches of scientific information were made in the Web of Science database within 37 years of two keywords, the selected period considers the first years of the Uruguay Round of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, the creation of the World Trade Organization and the acceleration of the growth of world trade and the process of globalization. International trade and decision making are the two keywords chosen; three different approaches were defined as methodology, literature review, analysis of publications and word clouds for each of the keywords. The objective is to find the contributions made by academics and researchers and knowing at the very same time contributions by researchers about the nature of the optimal decision-making process bonded to international trading. Understanding the decision-making process in international trading is important. Unlike domestic trade, international trade occurs in a different legal and institutional framework, also environment is unique in every transaction made around the world. Although the most important centers and research programs in the world are geographically located in the United States and Canada, research teams and researchers do so in different parts of the world.
