摘要：

This paper presents the application of problems of multicriterial decision making in which out of a series of potential alternative solutions: one alternative should be selected as "best" or more alternatives should be chosen as "good" or alternatives should be ranked from the best to the weakest. Possible solutions that are practicable are investment alternatives, technical and development concepts in specific economic circumstances. This paper presents an example of multi criteria ranking of six investment projects for specific conditions in the production of cutting tools in the Serbian company. Multiple-criteria ranking of alternatives was carried out by the widely applied PROMETHEE method.
