Absolute frequency measurements of the 1S0-3P0 optical clock transition at 578 nm in neutral Yb

摘要
With atoms cooled to < 84 mu K in a magneto-optic trap, we perform the first fs-laser-based absolute measurements (uncertainty < 5 kHz) of the Yb S-1(0)-P-3(0) clock transition at 578 nm for two different isotopes.
