摘要
The pulse tube cryocooler (PTC) is a promising cryocooler for the requirements in space and military applications. Since 1995, Cryogenic Laboratory, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CL/CAS) started to develop and fabricate linear motor driven compressors for self-made miniature co-axial PTCs. Besides the inherit merits of no moving parts at low temperatures and negligible mechanical vibrations, the PTCs are very compact, reliable, and low-cost coolers for space-borne applications. In this paper, we will present the system design of a set of miniature PTCs developed and fabricated in our laboratory. The PTCs are driven by a linear motor-driven compressor, which is supported by the flexure springs. The U-shape configuration is adapted to the pulse tube cold head, which is coupled with the compressor. The design goal is of providing 0.5W cooling power at 80K, with input power less than 40W.
