Hydrothermal synthesis, crystal structure and electrochemical properties of {[Co(4,4'-bipy)(H2O)4]•(α-furacrylic acid)2•(H2O)}n

摘要
A complex {[Co (4,4'-bipy) (H2O)(4)] center dot (alpha-Furacrylic acid)(2) center dot (H2O)}(n), with alpha-furacrylic acid, 4,4' -bipy and cobaltous chloride hexahydrate has been synthesized by means of hydrothermal way and characterized. Crystal data for this complex: monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c, a= 1. 147 0(2) nm, b = 1.099 9(2) nm, a = 1.111](2) nm,ss=97.829(3)degrees, V= 1.388 7(5) nm(3), D-c= 1.429 g center dot cm(-3), Z=2, mu(Mo K alpha)=0.682 mm(-1), F(000)=622, S= 1.025, R-1=0.035 8, wR(2)=0.086 1. The crystal structure shows that the cobalt(II) ion is coordinated with two nitrogen atoms of two 4,4'-bipy molecules and four oxygen atoms from four water molecules, respectively, giving a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. Adjacent cobalt(II) ions are bridged by 4,4'-b,bipy groups, resulting in a 1D chain structure. The adjacent Co(II)-Co(II) distance is 1.147 0 nm. The cobalt(II) ion isn't coordinated with alpha-Furacrylic acid. The complex molecules form 2D structure through hydrogen bonds. The cyclic voltametric behavior of the complex was also investigated.
