摘要
High speed cutting based on the technique by Oil-mist lubrication and oil-air lubrication has been generally applied in the machine tools. However, their advantages and disadvantages are not necessarily clear about the actual guides for use. To clarify these, this paper compares with those performances in the same spindle system by changing only lubrication system from oil-air to oil-mist. Moreover, the good timing between cooling the housing and starting the spindle rotation is reported. In addition, lubrication mechanism about such as the time required from starting lubrication to finishing it by reaching the object lubricated, the influence of the remains among a lubricating piping system and the effect of length from nozzle and object lubricated on the quantity adhered are experimented, and the state of spreading of lubricant throughout object is visualized by CCD camera.
