The determination of Ge by atomic fluorescence spectrometry with electrochemical hydride generation

摘要
The determination of Ge by electrochemical hydride generation (Ec-HG)-atomic fluorescence spectrometer (AFS) was developed. A specially designed tubular electrolytic cell was used for hydride generation. The cell consisted of graphite tube cathode and platinum anode. When electrolysis began, hydride-forming elements were reduced to gaseous hydrides on cathode surface and were transported to gas liquid separator by carrying gas for AFS determination. The detection limits (3 delta) of Ge in aqueous solution was 0.67 mu g/L, the RSD for 11 replicate measurements of 200 mu g/L Ge was 1.7%. The technique has been applied to the determination of Ge in the reference materials. The analytical results were in good agreement with certified values. The effects of the hydride and interferences have been studied.
