摘要
In this paper, the researches about the TiN/Al2O3, AlN/Al2O3 and (TiN, AlN) /Al2O3 composites were reviewed. It is believed that the particle reinforcement was one of the simple ways to toughen the combined ceramics. In particular, nano-combination, micro-combination and multi-phase combination are all effective particle reinforcements. The in-situ sintering is very promising for preparing multi-phase ceramics because fine second phase particles could be in-situ produced in matrix during the sintering process. Therefore, the properties of the resultant composites are improved greatly.
