摘要
On the basis of the social force model, the model of driven vehicles' behaviours on urban roads is established. According to force analysis of a vehicle and Newton's second law of motion, we update its velocity and position, so as to realise a simulation of the vehicle's behaviour. While the vehicle is running on the road, it is affected by internal and external forces. Various behaviours, such as lane changing, and acceleration and deceleration, are the results of the action of the resultant force. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the internal and external forces have been undertaken. The simulation data and results show that this social force model can simulate some basic behaviours of moving vehicles and, therefore, the model can be applied to the design of roads.
