摘要
The authors noted that, in the present, cross-border criminality is a complex phenomenon and extreme gravity that can affect not only the rule of law, but, in extremis, even national security. The functioning of a European criminal area, in which the European Union should contribute to combating the worst deeds that affect the fundamental values of the United Europe, is absolutely necessary. The European Union Internal Security Strategy is designed to enable Europe to respond to the challenges and emerging threats, according to a joint approach involving both EU actors, and those at national and local level.
