摘要
Polycrystalline diamonds are grown by microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition techniques. The structures and morphologies are investigated by X-ray diffraction, Raman, and atomic force microscope. The photocatalytic characterizations show that diamond has a certain degradation ability for rhodamine B, and the degradation rate of nanocrystalline diamond is faster than that of microcrystalline diamond. Diamond based photoconductor-type photodetector with Au electrode is prepared and it shows high photoresponsivity. This research has opened up new opportunities for diamond in various fields including photocatalysis and photodetectors.
