摘要
The synthesis and characterization of nano-gamma-Fe2O3 was described by sol-gel method. The optimal conditions for the formation of iron citric acid sol-gel were that the concentration of ferrite citrate was 0.8 mol/L, the pH was 7 and the reaction temperature was 40 degrees C. DTA, XRD, FT-IR, and TEM analysis were employed to characterize the properties of the as-prepared gamma-Fe2O3. TG-DTA, XRD and FT-IR characterization indicate that the appropriate temperature for the formation of gamma-Fe2O3 by Sol-gel method is 450 degrees C and the particle size of gamma-Fe2O3 formed is about 32 nm by the Scherrer formula and TEM under the optimal conditions.
