Analysis of the direct numerical simulation data on the heat transfer process in a flat channel in a turbulent flow mode obtained by various authors shows that the statistical characteristics of temperature fluctuations at low Prandtl numbers do not depend on the Reynolds and Prandtl numbers separately, but on the Peclet number. The Peclet number is calculated from the so-called dynamic velocity. The value of the Peclet number also determines the characteristics of the turbulent heat flow. The results can be used in developing a method for calculating heat exchangers used in the production of chemical fibres.
