摘要
Electromagnetic Acoustic transducer (EMAT) is a device used for non destructive testing .It requires no coupling and is used to test electrical conductive material. In this work a Finite Element analysis has been performed for the electromagnetic and mechanical propagation in a conductive non ferromagnetic material. A two dimensional model was modelled was modelled. The acoustic properties of the material are investigated, which involves the coupling of several physical parameters. An investigation of defect in non-ferromagnetic materials is also conducted. The software model is capable of simulating all this phenomenon and the results are represented in this paper.
