摘要
We have described a possible role for IL-12 and IL-18 in the initiation, and resolution of innate immune response to pathogens, as they can induce the aggregation and maturation of monocytes, the induction of inflammatory chemokines (CXCL-8, CCL2, CXCL9, CXCL10). They also induce the production of IFN gamma in the absence of NK or T-cells, suggesting a role for INF gamma in innate immunity.
