摘要
The objective of this work is to propose a didactic alternative that contributes to the knowledge of the local history of Cienfuegos in students of the ninth grade of secondary education, by linking audiovisual programs produced by the Perlavision telecentre, to topics and epigraphs endorsed in the Guiding documents of the Ministry of Education for the teaching of the subject of History of Cuba. The proposal aims to contribute to the enrichment of the teaching methodology of the discipline, by proposing an option that contributes to the strengthening of the values and cultural identity of the students. For its preparation, the theoretical conceptions set forth in the consulted bibliography and the requirements of educational practice have been taken into account, as well as guidelines set forth in the governing documents of the Cuban educational system. The proposed didactic alternative was elaborated from the field work carried out at the Escuela Secundaria Basica Urbana (ESBU) 5 de Septiembre, in the municipality of Cienfuegos.
