Silver particle sizes and shapes as determined during a deposit by in situ surface differential reflectance

摘要
Clusters formed by evaporation of silver on TiO2(110) have been studied in situ, under ultra-high vacuum conditions, by surface differential reflectance of UV-visible light. Cluster sizes and shape ratios are derived by fitting the optical spectrum to a model which accounts for the relaxation time of the electrons, the particle-substrate and the particle-particle interactions.
