摘要
Since 1990 Polish economy generally followed neoliberal path of growth. There was a chance that the new Constitution of 1997 would introduce and propagate broad and inclusive sustainable development paradigm. Unfortunately, this opportunity was missed in the 2000s. Some corrections of orthodoxy were made after the global financial crisis. The switch into the sustainable development path was only partial. The list of indicators in the economic pillar (or order) of sustainable development is still relatively narrow and not adequately popularised. Despite obvious weaknesses, the dominance of GDP and GDP per capita is practically intact.
