From 1949 to 2009, Chinese economy and society has been keeping sustained and rapid development and GDP has ranked the 3 rd in the world. Here "Chinese mode" with Chinese characteristics works as one main reason. Tremendous economic opportunities created by global economic integration and industry upgrading and transfer works as another reason. What's more, the peaceful and secure environment established by Mao Zedong's "military power" strategy works as a very important reason. Based on the analysis of the background, process and features of War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the Sino-Indian boundary war, Xisha Island war in self-defense and Zhenbao Island war of counterattack in self-defense, we think that four wars of national defense commanded by Mao Zedong and happened in different time, at different places are the profound manifestation of Mao Zedong's "military power" strategy and revealed the great practice of peaceful and secure environment the strategy creates.
