摘要
Health IT is becoming more complex and the distribution of information through electronic systems more common. This trend presents a dilemma; treating patients in the quickest and best way possible or accepting, implementing, and utilizing best practice in patient privacy and security. This study explores the security and privacy challenges in the healthcare industry and discusses the possibility of using technology to balance optimal delivery of healthcare and securing patients' information.
