摘要：

The recent paper [1] presents a formula for an interval containing all eigenvalues of a real symmetric matrix. The formula requires only the trace of the matrix and the trace of its square. This formula is here generalised to complex matrices. (C) 2005 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH T Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
