Hot stamping casting die is a mold manufactured based on patternless casting technology and equipment. In this process, pre-bending conformal cooling pipes need to be fixed in the sand mold before casting a die base. Compared with the drilling process, the conformal cooling pipes in the casting die fits better with the die cavity in the die, resulting in a higher cooling capacity. This paper puts forward a kind of hot stamping die rapid manufacturing process based on adopted casting without pattern technology. In this research, graphite cast steel was used as the casting material. 20 steel pipes were selected as the preset pipes, and zircon sand was filled in the pipes. The casting temperature was set as 1420 degrees C, which can guarantee the close binding of the preset pipes and the mold base without penetration. Furthermore, the application of patternless casting technology and equipment may help avoid the wood mold manufacturing link, resulting in a shorter casting sand mold development cycle and a lower manufacturing cost. A hot stamping die for motor bracket was trial-manufactured using the above manufacturing process. There were no obvious casting defects in the die and preset cooling pipes were accurately positioned. The sand cores could be discharged through blowing. The mechanical properties of the stamping part could meet the requirements.
