Microwave Assisted Synthesis of Flavonoid Based 1,2,3-Triazole and Isoxazole Derivatives, Their Antibacterial, Antioxidant, and Anticancer Activities

摘要
New flavonoid based 1,2,3-triazole and isoxazole derivatives have been synthesized under microwave irradiation and conventional heating methods. Structures of the synthesized compounds have been confirmed by IR, H-1 and C-13, and mass spectra. All products have been tested in vitro for antibacterial, antioxidant and anticancer activities. Several of these demonstrate high activity against gram positive pathogens Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus and gram negative species Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa using streptomycin as a standard drug. Antioxidant radical scavenging activity of the products has been tested using ascorbic acid as a standard drug. Anticancer activity has been tested against MCF-7 and HeLa cell lines using doxorubicin as a standard drug. Two products have demonstrated promising results.
