摘要
The paper investigates the calculation of slotting permeance harmonies in induction machines using reduced finite-element models. It is shown that magnetic saturation has little effect on the stator slotting permeance harmonics. However, care must be taken to ensure that realistic values of fundamental air-gap flux density are employed when the rotor air-gap permeance harmonics are calculated, to avoid spurious results.
