摘要
We have developed broadband and gain flattened EDFAs by using non-silica fibers including fluoride and tellurite fiber, as the erbium host. Specifically, we have developed a fluoride-based EDFAs with a gain excursion of 1.4 dB in the 1532-1560 nm range. We have also developed the broadband EDFAs by using a parallel configuration and tellurite-based EDF.
