摘要
The Parabolic Equation (PE) method is employed to solve the Loran-C additional secondary factors (ASFs) over irregular terrain. The method is based on split-step Fourier transform (SSFT) algorithm, and has been proven to be numerically efficient. The ASF results are compared to those of finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method and integral equation (IE) method with very good agreement. The computational time of the PE method is several orders less than the other two. The memory requirement is similar to IE, and less than FDTD method.
