摘要
Testing optical fiber performance contains testing length of optical fiber, trouble spot, loss of fiber, connection loss and so on. We design the teaching experiment of testing fiber based on principle of OTDR measurement. To avoid the blind spot, we add optical fiber bouncing lining between OTDR and tested optical fiber. In the curve chart, all sorts of events which occur in the practical projects are showed, it can make students known these related knowledge more comprehensively. It will get better teaching effect if we arrange this experiment after another experiment of using optical fiber fusion splicer to join two segments optical fiber.
