摘要：
The first half of paper reviews the personal and professional experiences of the authors after having a client die by suicide (the first author) or make a serious attempt (the second author). The second half reviews research on training and graduate students' experience with suicide and attempted suicide and then reviews supervisors interventions. The paper ends with sets of suggestions for trainees, supervisors, and clinical programs.
