摘要：

A series of pyrimidine bearing 1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives have been synthesized and evaluated for antibacterial activity. All the structures of the newly synthesized compounds have been supported by IR, H-1 and C-13 NMR, GC-MS and CHN analysis. Most of the compounds have shown promising antibacterial activity when compared with the standard drug Ciprofloxacin.
