摘要
To improve electrical characteristics of a taste sensor based on semiconductor, a cascoded compatible lateral bipolar transistor (C-CLBT) is proposed for detection of taste substances. The C-CLBT was used as transducer and a lipid/polymer was used as sensing membrane. The C-CLBT was connected to a gated lateral bipolar transistor (GLBJT) and p channel MOSFET in series. The proposed taste sensor was treated with the lipid/polymer material on a floating gate. When umami substances react to lipid materials, the electric charge of lipids was changed on a sensing membrane composed a polymer and a lipid. In this study, five lipid materials were used for detection of a MSG which tastes umami substances. By using the proposed taste sensor, five lipids were showed different current aspects.
