Free metal jacket: A regioselective metal-free synthesis of polysubstituted pyrroles has been developed through a (diacetoxyiodo)benzene-mediated cascade reaction of alkynyl amines in moderate to good yield (see scheme). © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
