摘要
A series of model experiments were carried out in a moderate-velocity cavitation water tunnel to investigate the character of ventilated supercavity. The effect of some similarity parameters on the character of ventilated supercavity were analyzed on the basis of experimental results. The results show that the Froude number, the dimensionless ventilated flow rate and the natural cavitation number have more important effect on the character of the ventilated supercavity. The dimensionless ventilated flow rate is a determinant parameter, while the Froude number will cause the shape of ventilated supercavity unsymmetrical. Furthermore, the natural cavitation number mainly determines whether it is easy to develop a ventilated supercavity.
