摘要
A 6-18GHz sixteen-way ring-cavity power divider using symmetrically coaxial taper excitation is presented in this paper. To extend the operating bandwidth of the presented power divider/combiner, the stepped-impedance matching technology, is used to realize the better impedance matching. The approximate equivalent circuit of this sixteen-way ring-cavity coaxial power divider has been presented and analyzed. The measured return loss is greater than 10.8 dB from 5.8 to 18.4 GHz. The average insertion loss, amplitude imbalance, and phase imbalance are around 12.5 dB (including the 12-dB power dividing insertion loss), +/- 0.7 dB, and 7, respectively, across the entire operating frequency range.
