摘要：

Mexico is about to take a step that could mean a great source of income. Due to the upcoming regulation of cannabis that is on the doorstep of legalization and the huge market that it represents in the world, everything indicates that Mexico will obtain great benefits for its inclusion in this new business. This study presents the stages of the regulation of cannabis since it was considered a useless and dangerous substance and its use and consumption was limited by law, to the recognition of its properties by legal means. In the end, when looking at the global panorama of the countries that have legalized it, we can deduce similar expectations for Mexico.
