摘要
A numerical parametric study was performed on the influence of various physical aspects over the hydrodynamics of gas-solid two-phase flow in the D-D calciner. An Eulerian continuum formulation, incorporated with the kinetic theory of granular media to represent the transport properties of the solid phase, was applied for both phases. The distributions of particle concentration and velocities of gas and particle phases were predicted. The numerical results show that the velocity of the primary air jet and throat diameter affect the hydrodynamics of gas-solid flow in the D-D calciner. Wavelet analysis was used to predict the nonlinear flow behavior of gas-solid mixture in the D-D calciner.
