摘要：

The author examines Garibaldi's relations with the Romanian patriots through an analysis of the conspiracies he led to free Romania from the Ottoman empire. In this context, he considers the Italian soldier's influence on the liberals who invoked his aid on numerous occasions, giving rise to a real myth among the Romanian people, a legend that lived on, even after the hero's death.
