摘要
A dual-band monopole antenna for WLAN applications is presented in this paper. By etching a U-shaped slot on the radiating patch and an S-shaped slot on the feed line, a wide notch-band is introduced, and then the dual-band characteristic for WLAN operation is achieved. The simulation result shows that the antenna can operate at 2.4/5.2 GHz. The bandwidth of two bands is 2.30-2.52 GHz and 4.86-5.46 GHz, respectively. Also, good radiation patterns and acceptable gains are achieved over the operating bands.
