摘要
Historic buildings are tourism products with aesthetic value. It is necessary to renovate historic buildings on a regular basis for the reason that those buildings resulted in defects even dilapidated over time. However, in the process of renovation, such protectively destructive behaviors as destroying buildings structure or abusing building materials which would lead to the loss of cultural value and authenticity of historic buildings. This paper comprehensively utilizes the knowledge of architecture, aesthetics and renovation of historic architectures, discusses the necessity of aesthetic auditing in the process of historic buildings renovation, builds a brief framework of aesthetic auditing, and analyzes the "Lijiang pattern" in the auditing process of architectural heritage in China.
