摘要
This article re-examines the legal regime of bareboat charter ship registration and flags of convenience in international law with particular reference to the 1958 Geneva Convention and the 1982 Law of the Sea Convention; compares and contrasts the two systems against a common denominator (the "litmus test"); and asks whether bareboat charters are flags of convenience.
