摘要
Construction error measurement of hull ship block is nontrivial at the stage of block assembly. Traditional way which relies on single-point measurement device is time-consuming. In this paper. an algorithm for the construction error acquisition of ship blocks is proposed, which is based on point set registration between the real scanned point cloud and the designed model of ship blocks. A rigid registration based on Gaussian Mixture Models is employed to match the images obtained by different scanning stations. Then, approximate distance metric for the distance from an arbitrary point to the implicit model is adopted. The construction error is represented as the deviation of the actual positions. The experimental results show that our proposed method is adaptable to the large-scale point cloud with high occlusion, noise and outliers.
