High-pressure vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data for the carbon dioxide + p-cymene system at 313.15, 333.15, and 353.15 K and pressures up to 12.0 MPa were measured by a flow-type visualization apparatus based on the dynamic analytical method with sampling. The measured VLE data were discussed and compared to existing literature results for the purpose of validating the reliability of the method, as well as the apparatus applied in this study. Soave-Redlich-Kwong (SRK) and Peng-Robinson equations of state combined with Quadratic and Adachi-Sugie (AS) mixing rules were utilized to represent our experimental values. The calculation results indicate that all four models are comparable, but the SRK/AS model is more accurate for our experimental data than other models.
