Real-time implementation of the frequency-domain FxLMS algorithm without block delay for an adaptive noise blocker

摘要
Adaptive Noise Blocker (ANB) is a system at a stage of development that will be mounted inside the window-opening of a living-or workroom to reduce the transmission of the traffic noise trough the opened window. ANB mainly consists of several microphones, loudspeakers and a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) executing an Active Noise Control (ANC) algorithm. The DSP requires usage of analog filters, which introduce a noticeable delay in the plant decreasing the performance of the algorithm. Therefore, a realtime capable implementation of computational efficient ANC algorithm is needed to allow the DSP operating at high sampling frequency, whereby the usage of analog filters with high corner frequency will be enabled. This leads to less delay in the plant and improves the performance. For that purpose, a realtime capable implementation of a Feedback Delay-less Partitioned Block Frequency-Domain Adaptive Filter (FB-DPBFDAF) on a multi-tasking DSP is introduced.
