Deformation-induced structural changes in bulk metallic glass at room temperature

摘要
The deformation-induced structural changes in bulk metallic glass at room temperature were studied. The amorphous structure was identified by x-ray diffractometry and transmission electron microscopy. The results showed that local structural changes, the formation of voids and crystallization occurred in the glass after uniaxial compressive plastic deformation.
