摘要
In this work, DEM parameters of ellipsoid pellets were measured by means of self-made experimental device. On this basis, the effects of different roasting temperatures and equivalent diameters on DEM parameters of pellets were analyzed. In addition, the wear rate and movement velocity of different pellets in the drum were measured and extracted. Then, the applicability of measured DEM parameters of pellets is discussed. The results show that the roasting temperature of pellets has a great influence on DEM parameters. The wear rate of pellets increased to 24.6% gradually with the increase of roasting temperature from 298 K to 873 K and then decreased to 0.051% gradually with the increase of roasting temperature from 873 K to 1473 K. Pellet wear rate is exponential with the synthetical deviation of the experimental and simulated values of pellet velocity. Within the maximum theoretical deviation of 15%, the wear rate cannot exceed 22.59%. (c) 2021 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
