摘要
This study is planned to examine the effects of the slip load of the bolt connection on the elastoplastic behaviour of the beams. Three specimens which have different slip load were tested. The slip load was varied by adjustment of the cramping forces of the bolts. The clamping forces (T) were adjusted to give T/T-0 = 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2, here, T-0 meant the standard cramping force. Further finite element analyses (FEA) were carried out to investigate for detailed study on the effect of the slip load. FEA results show approximately similar to test results. The results are briefly shown below: when the width to thickness ratio (D/t) of the column is large, it has little effect on the behaviour of the beam to vary the slip load of the bolt connection on the beam web.
