摘要:
A high-frequency carrier-type head was fabricated by using photolithographic techniques and its head outputs were measured by reproducing a recorded magnetic tape. A two step computer simulation method was devised in order to handle the high frequency carrier, and the dynamic impedance variation rates (DIVR) of the magnetic head were calculated using this simulation. Based on this data. the signal output level was estimated for a theoretical 1/4 wavelength matching transmission line (ideal transformer) and an assumed permeability. It was expected that the calculated head output level was 400 Gbit/in(2) actual recording density. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
